Green Gold Judging

On Tuesday 14th November Pukehou got judged for the Green Gold Environment Award. We were the only school that went for the award this year.

The judges were welcomed by a whole school powhiri. Then they had morning tea in the hall with the Green Team. After morning tea the Green Team did an inside presentation which showed the schools environmental achievements that couldn't be shown outside. Then everyone went outside and the judges were shown all the outside things that we were doing to help the environment. Some of the places that they were shown was the Nusery, Peace Path, Wormery and Mural. They then looked through books that showed the process of our environmental projects while eating lunch. After lunch Mr Fuller went and talked to them and at the end of the day the judges announced that YES! we had achived the Green Gold award. It was so fantastic finding out that we had won! Everyone felt really proud!

We will be presented with the award some time next year.

 Vision Map

This is a draft of Pukehou School's Vision Map it shows us where we are as a school and where we will be heading in the future. We have now created our final Vision Map and it looks great. Well done to the group who finished that off!
