Ngā mihi nui ki a koutou. Exciting times here at school with the old playground coming out this week and the green light given for the replacement playground plans.
It was wonderful to see the students running so well last week at our school cross country. Next week (COVID Level dependent) we will be taking nineteen of our 8 - 13 year old students to Lake Station for the Central Hawke’s Bay Interschool event.
It was with great disappointment that we had to withdraw the opportunity for our students to compete against those from Otane and Poukawa schools at next week's Cross Country.
Spring daffodils, blossoms and lambs have begun gracing our landscape and it is wonderful to feel the temperature slowly warming.
It is wonderful to have everyone back after the school holidays. Smiling happy faces are always a joy and it is wonderful to see.
As the term rolls to an end, I would like to extend a huge thank you to everyone who is involved in Team Pukehou. Students, whanau and staff.
Week Ten is upon us, one which would usually see the end of term. However 2020 has thrown some curveballs at us.
It is wonderful to see the classrooms back up and running at (almost) full capacity.
It is wonderful to have so many of our students back to school. It was certainly a strange place to be during Level 3 with only a few of us here.
